"BRINGING OLD BIKES BACK TO LIFE." THAT'S WHAT THIS SITE IS ABOUT. THE THRILL OF HEARING THAT OLD ENGINE START UP. THE JOY OF FINDING THAT HIDDEN JEWEL IN THE CORNER OF AN OLD BARN. AND MOST OF ALL, GETTING THEM ON THE ROAD AGAIN. WE ARE ALL ABOUT MOTORCYCLES, FROM RADICAL CHOPPERS TO STOCK BIKES AND ANYTHING IN BETWEEN. BRANDS MEAN NOTHING HERE, WE ARE ABOUT RIDING AND WRENCHING.
Be sure to check the site resources section to the right. Remember to visit our forums and chopper tech section. This will be where most content of the site is located. We want this to be a great technical and mechanical resource for any old bike or chopper enthusiast.

Future plans include scanning in hundreds of old chopper and bike mags from the 60's, 70's and 80's. There are tons of cool stuff and tech articles in them, and let's face it, documentation for old bikes can be hard to come by. As with all great sites, we need your support! If you have any advice, articles, diagrams, guides or anything you think others would find helpful, please submit them so we can post them on the site. We will be an ever expanding resource for those who love old bikes.

Right now, we are saving up money for a special scanner for scanning magazines. After the scanner arrives we will begin scanning and archiving the magazines.

Billy Bike and Ner A Car

I snapped this at the Anamosa motorcyele museum. The first is a replica of the "Billy Bike" from the movie Easyrider. The leather jacket is also a replica of the one worn.

This thing is awesome. It's a Ner A Car. Look this up online, it's real neat. They were made as a cross between a car and a motorcycle. It was suposed to be less crude, they advertised them as something for women to ride on in the long dresses of the day.

Iron Horse Social Club - Savahna, IL

My wife and I went on a short vacation. We were staying at the Mississippi Palasades State Park. Now I hate buying firewood (I burn wood for heat at my house and could cut a whole truckload or more for what they charge for a single bundle of 6 or so pieces...), but the whole Emerald Ash Borer Beetle thing kept me from bringing my own. You cant transport wood across state lines, or aern't supposed to for the time being. Also, the park is stripped bare of all dead wood by previous campers so foraging did no good. We went into Savahna, IL for some groceries and firewood. We saw a billboard and ran across this place by accident!

There are tons of old bikes in there! They are a bar and grill with three floors of motorcycle stuff. They even have a chapel up on the third floor for marriages. Anyway, it's a really AWESOME place. I would suggest going there, plus the area and roads around there are unreal for riding on. They really do have some unique stuff. There was a lot more great bikes that I didn't photograph. I don't like taking pics of everything, just enough to give a taste of what's there.

Choppertown: The Sinners

ChopperTown - The Sinners. Be sure to check this one out!

Headlight Ears

Just got these in the mail for my stocker. The other headlight ears were real thin with no rubber. It made the headlight vibrate and blow, so I thought I would try these out. They are cast aluminum.

400 Suzuki

This is a 400 Suzuki single cylinder. These bikes are really fun. They have quite a bit of torque and will pop wheelies really well... not that I would ever do that!

We won't even get into how they do for ramping mud holes lol.
